In music, the exposition occurs at the beinning of the piece, when the main theme is introduced. It sort of establishes a "mood", so I thought this was an appropriate title for my first post. So let me tell you a little about myself. I work hard buying CDs and other music related materials for a large public library system. When I'm not doing that, I'm a french horn player. I love fashion, and do my best to look good whatever I'm doing. I've been thinking about doing a blog for a while, ever since I had "french horn pin week" on a social networking site. Here are some photos:
Right now I'm doing a lot of outdoor summer concerts in the hot sun and sticky weather. I couldn't make it through without:
Off mosquito repellant to ward off mosquitos and other nasties.
Chop Saver lip balm Keeps my lips from drying out, but isn't thick or waxy, so it doesn't interfere with my lips buzzing on the mouthpiece. I love it!
Fat Cat slide grease: this is really a "beauty cream" for Siggy, my french horn. It keeps his slides moving freely for a long time and doesn't evaporate or separate in extreme temperatures! I'll tell you more about my beloved Siggy in a future post...
